My daughter was happy with this unit -- for the first three times she used it. After the third use, the words no longer display on the screen for some reason. I tried contacting the company using several different email addresses listed on their web site, but they all get returned as being blocked by their Spam server. I even emailed the webmaster to let him/her know, and that email got returned, too!

The box is deceiving, it makes the buyer believe the machine plays karaoke through ipod. It does play your ipod but it is not related to the karaoke. No where in the directions does it explain what we needed to buy to get the lyrics to display- which turns out to be CD+G formated CDs only.
The microphone doesn't work well and the vocal/music fading dials do not work.

The machine is just not compatible, the manufacturer says it on their website, which I found out AFTER I could not make this work. The machine will not read the CDs we have burned at home, the machine will play the ipod tunes we have on the ipod, but I was looking forward for my kids to sing along the videos we download from youtube that have the sound of the song and show the lyrics.
The manufacturer's website says:
Why can't I see lyrics from my iPod on my Karaoke machine?
The music downloaded does not have a graphic file to support lyrics, so there are not words to see. Many karaoke songs offered on iTunes do not support graphics for lyrics; this type of karaoke is music with the vocals removed. In order to see lyrics and hear music, the karaoke file downloaded from iTunes will need to have a MP4 or MPEG (video file) extension. There are...Read more
