I bought two of these to sit on my desks and hold my iPad 2. I read the reviews, and was confused by the over-the-top and sometimes orgasmic reviews of the product because it is such a simple device. While I can't get that enthusiastic about the product, what I can say is that it holds my iPad well. The bottom is rubberized and seems to be weighted, which is good. My only knock is that the slot in which the ipad rests is bare plastic - not rubberized in anyway. I would have liked for this area to be rubberized to further secure the ipad and prevent slipping, especially since I may actually interact with the ipad while it is being held. Other than that, its just a standard non-powered cradle, nothing to get too excited about.

the stands so cheap and it works I can't believe they can sell these this cheap.
this is one of those chances you don't want to miss, i'm glad i didn't.
This stand will not end up being another paper weight, don't let the price scare you away, it's the real thing.
