Charge Your iPod
This charger is designed for all dock-connecting iPods. Connect your iPod to the power adapter with the included dock connector-to-USB cable, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet, and your iPod will begin charging. The four-foot cable should provide plenty of slack for the average desktop or nightstand.
Note: The cable included with Belkin Power kits are used to charge the iPods only. You will not be able to sync your iPod using the included cable.
Charge Other USB Devices
Since the wall charger features a USB port, you can also plug in other USB cables for charging MP3 players, phones, or other devices you have that charge via USB.

Even though it doesn't seem relevant, I enjoyed the little blue light on the face of the unit. After using it, I unplugged the charger and set in on my desk. The second time I tried to plug in the charger, no lie, I noticed the electrical prongs from the charger itself were still in the wall outlet. Yep. When I unplugged the charger, the metal prongs broke off and stayed in the wall. It happened so easily that I didn't even notice it had broken until the next time I tried to use it. The most fun part about it was trying to find a useful rubber or plastic tool to pull the prongs out of the outlet. Yes it will charge your iPod. Yours may not break. Mine did. Luckily, Belkin seems to have pretty good customer service and warranties, so they are replacing the charger for free. This product has more than met my expectations. It is extremely lightweight to the point where I can slip it into my pants pocket, go wherever I need to go, and use it. I use this at home to keep my phone charged next to my bed, and use it to quickly charge my iPod when I'm not near my computer.
